The 2012 NOCS event is expected to again attract the region's best teams and players.   Players who will be participating with their club or high school team can register individually ONLY after their coach or team contact has pre-registered the team.  Players on these teams cannot register until after the team has been registered in this fashion by the team coach or team contact.  Get your coaches or team contacts to register NOW. Individual players  participate and play on SH teams.  Indicate an SFH team preference during the registration process.    Play is 7v7, 20 minute round robin games. All teams play 4 games.  Register Now!
After a successful 2011 event, the 2012 NOCS  will continue as  a competitive club and team event.  Individuals are always invited to play on our mixed SFH teams.  So not only are you getting the benefits of exposure that has been part of our last 5NOCS and last 5 NICS, but you are also playing for the NOCS title.  That means more games in front of college coaches if you win!  College coaches have consistently told us that they prefer to see athletes competing for something in hopes of seeing elevated play.  So we contintinue to offer that opportunity.

Other Notes:
  • We do our best to run quality, professional events which are attractive to both teams, players, and college coaches.
  • Our events are in smaller venues and designed for optimal observation
  • We provide the college coaches with a very thorough, complete and detailed 225+ page event program.
  • Our exposure quotient© is as high as any event when you factor in the cost of various opportunities that exist in far off non hockey destinations around the country.
About College Coaches Attending:
  • On average you can expect around 15-20  NCAA coaches during your session.
  • 2011 NICS had around 30+  NCAA coaches
  • 2010 NOCS had  over 25 colleges and universities represented
  • 2010 NICS had 40+ NCAA coaches
  • Our events have average 25 universities/colleges
  • Coaches sign in at our events so we know who has actually attended
Colleges and Universities represented at our Events: American, Bryant University, Bryn Mawr, Cornell, Desales University, Drexel, Gettysburg, Gwynedd Mercy, Haverford, Kings College,  Kutztown University, Lehigh, Longwood, Manhattanville, Moravian College, Muhlenberg College, Penn, Princeton, Providence, RPI,  Rutgers, Saint Joe's, Stevens Institute of Technology, Syracuse,  Temple, University of Delaware, Villanova, Virginia Wesleyan,  Washington College, Washington and LeeWest Chester, William and Mary,  Lafayette and a few others that didn’t sign in.   A list of college coaches who have registered to date can be downloaded here as we move closer to the event.  Players are encouraged to be pro-active in their college search process and inform college programs and coaches of their participation in the NOCS.

We cannot incent or pay coaches in anyway to come or come for a certain length of time.  Because the event is organized with 7v7 play and small teams,  with many touches, coaches will come and go when they think they have seen all that each player can offer.  Some coaches may come for 2 hours, while some may feel the need to come from 9am-2pm.  Each coach has a different recruiting style.  We make our events as efficient as possible.  The coaches don't have to cover 20 fields and don't even have to move from their seat to see you more than you might be seen over a 3 day large scale event.  On average the majority of coaches come from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
